About

I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Virginia with over 16 years of experience as a social worker. I have worked with children, adults, and geriatric populations. In my practice I have addressed concerns regarding depression, anxiety, and  Life transitional issues. My practice also includes caring for family members diagnosed with dementia, or Alzheimer’s, grief and bereavement matters.

I utilize the following theoretical Approaches Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in, Ecological Model, Strength Base Approach, Support counseling, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, grief work to address bereavement and Grief. I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. I promote utilizing coping strategies, self-care focusing on sleep, nutrition and exercise.
